  • 2 medium brown onions diced
  • 3 cloves garlic peeled and crushed
  • 4 carrots peeled and cut to chunks
  • 1 tin of diced tomatoes
  • 10 cherry tomatoes halved
  • 2 sprigs of rosemary
  • 2 sprigs of thyme
  • 2 sprigs of oregano
  • 2 L chicken stock
  • L red wine
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • salt and pepper to taste
