Ingredients

  • 1 small bowlful of pâté but serves at least 8 guests with crackers/veggie sticks.
  • 10 minutes to prepare ingredients,
  • 10 minutes of actual cooking,
  • 1-2 hours cooling time and about
  • 2 minutes to blend
  • 1-2 T olive oil
  • 1 medium brown onion, diced
  • 2-3 garlic cloves, grated (Use two large cloves, or 3 smaller ones – whatever you have on hand)
  • 400 grams Baby Bella mushrooms (2 punnets)
  • 2 T balsamic vinegar
  • 2 large (I used a soup spoon) spoonfuls of cream cheese (I used vegan cream cheese – Tofutti from Coles)
