  • 220 g pitted Mejdool dates
  • 250 ml boiling water
  • 1 teaspoon bicarbonate soda
  • 100 butter- chopped
  • 125 g dark brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 150 g flour
  • 2 teaspoon baking soda
  • Brown butter Toffee sauce
  • 150 g butter
  • 300 ml cream
  • 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
  • 2 pinches of salt
