Christmas DessertHere is a super easy dessert that is guaranteed to wow and impress this Christmas. I know this because I tried it out at our family Christmas yesterday and it was a huge hit
Plus the combination of macadamia nuts andwhitechocolate is pretty much just the best thing ever. Line two large baking trays with greaseproof paper and set aside
mix the buttermilk, egg and butter, raspberries andchocolate bits. The mixture must not be overworked to ensure the muffins are light in texture and to avoid breaking up the raspberries
One particular flavour I’ve always wanted to combine was whitechocolateand raspberry, and so the opportunity arose for me to test out the flavour in macaron form
Add the whitechocolate chips and the chopped macadamia nuts and stir through. And then it’s just a matter of adding in the yummy little whitechocolate chips
In medium bowl, beat bananas, egg whites, oil, milk and vanilla with fork until smooth. In large bowl, mix flour, coconut sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and salt
Crush the macadamia nuts roughly (i find placing the nuts in a bowl then crushing them with the end of a rolling pin works well, or a mortar and pestle if you have one)
Then stir in the sugar, coconut andwhitechocolate bits and mix well. – In my case I’ve had my eye on these muffinsand the timing was perfect – we were in abundance of mangoes which had to be used ASAP and, well… the baking of these muffins was well overdue
and many a stroll, and many a sigh, were necessary to dispel the agitation of the idea. I must say that I'm begining to appreciate whitechocolate after making my Matcha & whitechocolate brownies few months ago
I got the idea after I ate a whitechocolateandmacadamia cookie and realised how much I love the combination (hence why it’s my favourite cookie to order when I go to Subway)
Place chocolateand butter in a heat proof container and place in microwave until melted. Meanwhile in a jug whisk the egg and vanilla essence until combined
with the melted chocolateand sprinkle with salted almonds. and water. 3/4 cup whitechocolate chips, melted. Butter and flour a 9 by 13-inch baking pan. Using an electric hand mixer beat for 1 minute on medium. Cut into 16 bars and store airtight in a plastic container for up to 1 week. 3/4 cup whitechocolate chips, melted
