Ingredients

  • 3/4 cups chopped walnuts and slivered almonds
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup white chocolate, chopped
  • 1 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 100 g melted butter
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 very ripe pear, mashed
  • 2 very ripe pear, cut into
  • 2 cm cubes
  • ¼ cup packed brown sugar
  • ¼ cup butter
  • ¼ cup cream
  • 2 minutes Add the walnuts and boil for another
  • 3-4 minutes Pour the topping over the hot cake
