My favourite recipes from this book. Also the book doesn't mention much about water bath canning (HWB) so makes me wonder about shelf stability of items others have canned from referring to this book
We normally will add in the eggs before any dry ingredients but for this once the ground walnut was added in first before the egg and I guess it helps in making the cake soft and moist ( this is my opinion ) plus ofcoursethesour cream is the main helper in making the cake moist
