Ingredients

  • 1 onion
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 2 carrots
  • a few sprigs of fresh herbs such as parsley, rosemary, oregano, or 1 ts dried
  • 30 g olive oil
  • 1 tin (400g) tomatoes
  • 100 g water
  • 8-10 medium-large potatoes (around 1.3kg)
  • 2 Tb TM veggie stock paste concentrate
  • 30 g worcestershire or oyster sauce
  • 1 Tb tomato paste
  • 150 g cheese, cut in 2cm pieces
  • 40 g butter (optional)
  • 500 g steak (partially frozen and 2cm cubes) or pre-minced. You can use more, just see TIPS below
  • optional: 1 tin of drained and rinsed lentils (this bulks out your meal)
