You don’t need a food processor to make this recipe although it does help with the carrots and if you’re going to go old school and use a grater then just watch those knuckles of yours
Retro Mummy — baking and making with my family of 7
Fluffy and moist with just a hint of chocolate and deep red colouring, this glutenfree red velvet cake withcreamcheesefrosting is the perfect special treat, especially when topped with vanilla-laced creamcheesefrosting
As with my other glutenfree cakes, this fluffy, moist-crumbed creation doesn’t rely on strange gums or additives for its bounce, just the right combination of flours, and Greek yoghurt
One of my very favourite cakes in the world is a banana cake withcreamcheesefrosting. It probably helps that we always have heaps of ripe bananas in the fruit bowl (we’re a bit obsessed withbananas at our house)
Add the mashed bananas and carefully fold through until the mixture has just combined. Add the eggs to the creamed butter and sugar one at a time, make sure you beat each egg in well before the next addition
I know you can freezebananas a couple of different ways, but I like to peel mine, chop them into big chunks (about thirds) and then pop the pieces into a glad bag, seal and freeze
I make a lot of bananabread but I can’t remember the last time I made a banana cake. Ciaochowbambina was above me and that’s how I came to make this delicious banana cake with cinnamon creamcheesefrosting that Annie posted in June last year
Put the eggs, pureed banana, oil and vanilla into a large jug and whisk to thoroughly combine. A muffin with a mere smear of frosting has to be the best second breakfast going around
I am not a huge fan of glutenfreebread, I don't really like the taste- it seems metallicy or something and I will only eat it toasted with something of it, like an open sandwich and only rarely
Some mashed banana in the cake mixture would also work to sweeten in up a little. It is gluten and sugar-free and is another 'I Quit Sugar' recipe - 'Carrot Cake Cupcakes with Cinnamon Frosting

This cake is perfect on its own, but can be served with clotted cream or plain yogurt. This cake is obviously not for people with dairy restrictions, on top of gluten restrictions in their diet
Cooking Without Gluten | Gluten-free cooking without compromise
While I've had quite a few flops I am now at a point where I can quite easily convert a recipe to be free of wheat or gluten, dairy and refined sugar without any drama
