Gee, it really has been a while between posts hasn't it. I have to admit, having Mellymaks Facebook page has made me a little more lazy about blogging because it is so easy to type up a quick recipe with a photo and, click, its out there
It is absolutely perfect for visiting friends, relatives or events where your child will not want to miss out, all the location requires is a microwave and a mug
For the adults, this can be served as pictured below with sugared almond slithers (I just sliced up some raw almonds and tossed them through some rapadura sugar and coconut oil that I melted together in a saucepan), fresh fruit of the season, a reduced espresso/rapadura syrup, or even a coconut cream (try Quirky Cookings version towards the bottom of the page here)
You can always ask your butcher for the sausage mince they use in your favourite snags, or simply squeeze out the meat from sausage casings (this is great if you’ve got some frozen snags in the freezer and want to jooj them up a little
this postincludeslinks to products that were provided to MamaBake. Other posts you might like. Just be sure and keep these in the freezer as the topping goes a touch runny if left in the fridge

It should resembled over-cooked dried out scrambled eggs once it’s done. I find a lot of bought glutenfree stuff is a real disappointment – dry, gritty, bad-tasting and generally quite unpleasant, so I try and make my own where I can - this often means experimenting with different quantities and ingredients and having a few fails - so when something really works, I really want to share it
