  • 1/4 of your favourite chocolate cake recipe (I used my basic chocolate cake recipe)
  • 1 teaspoon rum essence
  • 1/2 Cup
  • of Shredded Coconut
  • 1/2 Cup
  • of Chocolate Sprinkles
  • 200 grams Melting Chocolate
  • 1/4 Cup
  • of Cream
  • Skewers
  • 2. Spray your cake pop tray with cooking spray so they don
  • 10-12 minutes or until a skewer comes out of the cake pop clean.
  • 6. In a heatproof bowl place over the rim of the saucepan and add your chocolate and cream and stir until chocolate has melted
  • 8. Place a rum ball onto a wooden skewer and dip into the melted chocolate and then into the shredded coconut, repeat using remaining rum balls alternating between the shredded coconut and chocolate sprinkles
  • 9. Place your completed rum balls in an empty cup standing up on the skewers
  • 10. Remove the skewers and place on a serving tray ready to be enjoyed
