I’ve reworked this recipe using some of my favourite ingredients, glutenfree flour and also making it in the thermomix which was so easy as it was all done in the one bowl with no stove top required

These started out as a pleasant accident with coconut flour chocolate cookies (i. ) as the orange filling, and given that the chocolate 'cake' part was made with coconut oil rather than butter, putting dark chocolate on the top would keep it dairy free
Add all other ingredients (half of water first) and mix until it starts to come together. Using a tablespoon, scoop out the mixture and shape into hazelnut-sized balls with your hands, packing the mixture together firmly
Cover with icing (recipe below) and enjoy. My chocolateand beetroot fudge cake has proven to be a huge hit, both amongst friends and family as well as on this blog
I'd love to tell you that instead of the dinner party I cleaned my house and whipped up a batch of scones, to continue with the domestic theme, but instead I lowered my blinds, crawled under my blankets, ate chocolate, and watched movies in bed all day
with my favourite dark chocolate – what isn’t to love about them. I like that the peanut butter is more subtle with the use of the other nut spread and they are still sweet and not crumbly at all
And this recipe was great to make with a new baby because of all the waiting time – pop the pastry into the freezer, feed the baby, pop the tart into the oven, feed the baby and so on

Drizzle with melted chocolate then dust with extra cacao. Load the cake up with whipped coconut cream and then decorate with edible flowers and raspberries
(If you don't have a food processor, just add all flours and seeds in a large bowl and work the butter into the dry ingredients with your fingertips until a fine breadcrumb consistency)
