In TM bowl chop walnuts 3 sec / speed 5.
Add bananas and chop 5 sec / speed 3
Then add brown sugar, cherries, egg, milk, treacle (or golden syrup), SR flour and fruit to TM bowl. Combine all ingredients 30 sec / speed 4 / Reverse
Scrape down and repeat if necessary.
Bake for 1 hour or until a skewer inserted in the centre comes out clean (cover loosely with foil if browning too quickly).
Cool the cake in the pan for 10 mins then turn out onto a rack to cool completely.
Slice and serve with butter.Notes
