Combine bi-carbonate of sodaand boiling water in asmall bowl andaddto the butter mixture then immediately pour all the liquids into the dry ingredients and mix well
Scoop out spoonfuls ontoagreased/linedbakingtray, leaving room for them tospread. Add the baking powder andallow it to 'foam' then immediately pour it over the dry ingredients in the bowl
